Baxter Australia secures approval of sealing haemostat
MedTech News: Baxter, a global leader in advanced surgical innovation, announced the launch of HEMOPATCH Sealing Haemostat in Australia following Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) Approval.

In multiple surgical specialties, HEMOPATCH demonstrated greater clinical effectiveness and versatility compared to other standard therapies, resulting in improved clinical and resource utilisation outcomes in hospitals.
Baxter Healthcare, Director of Advanced Surgery for Australia & New Zealand, Jim Giannopoulos, said Baxter was committed to partnering with clinicians to make a meaningful impact on patient care in operating rooms.
“Baxter is proud to support surgeons and operating theatre nurses with innovative and dependable products that address intraoperative bleeding and surgical sealing,” Mr Giannopoulos said.
