Human Resources: Evolving employer and employee preferences are significantly influencing talent acquisition and retention outcomes.
Maree Paras, Associate Director, Paras and Partners and Vanessa Meikle, Founder & CEO, Hunton Executive joined Health Industry Hub to deep dive into the current state of talent acquisition and retention across the pharma, medtech and biotech sectors, including “The great resignation or the great rethink?”
According to recent Gartner data, 30% of the skills that were present in job descriptions three years ago will be obsolete in 2022. Vanessa and Maree shared their views on the top workforce skills (soft and hard skills) that are critical in the current ecosystem and the importance of employee investment and commitment in lifelong learning to fulfil what employers define as the “ideal candidate”.
Finally, the duo considered the biggest changes and movements in the current workforce and how this will be evolving in the next 6 months.
