AusDoc’s digital transformation to facilitate new doctor connections

Health Industry Hub | December 10, 2020 |

Medical News: AusDoc, Australia’s leading medical news information publisher has released a set of new features that will allow doctors to connect and collaborate with colleagues.

In an Australian first, AusDoc will enable doctors to connect with other medical practitioners and communicate safely using an end-to-end encrypted messaging system.

Doctors will also be able to follow their preferred authors and have access to all globally published research via a new PubMed integration personalised to their interest areas.

Australian Doctor Group’s Managing Director Bryn McGeever says the new features available on AusDoc platform enable doctors to better connect, communicate and collaborate with colleagues, peers and specialists, as well as the wider pharmaceutical industry.

“This week, AusDoc has become much more than a website that keeps doctors informed with all the latest news, opinion, clinical updates, and education,” he commented.

“We believe that medicine will become even more collaborative in the future than it is today and that a connected community – where doctors can stay up-to-date, and share experiences – will benefit all.”

“With one eye on the ever-evolving communication needs of doctors, ADG has been investing heavily in data and digital capabilities for the past decade, and more recently we have accelerated our digital and product investment by more than $2M this year alone. We are evolving to become a place where doctors can now connect and collaborate with colleagues.”

ADG will look to continue its digital investment with the anticipated launch of a mobile app in early 2021.
