Organon energises growth with strategic move to vibrant Sydney CBD

Health Industry Hub | November 28, 2024 |

After three years at Sydney’s Macquarie Park, Organon ANZ has relocated to new offices in the heart of Sydney’s CBD, marking a significant milestone for the company following the appointment of Bilal Somra as the Managing Director of Organon ANZ.

This marked a homecoming for Somra, who played a pivotal role in the establishment of Organon ANZ as the Separation Lead during the company’s spin-off from MSD in 2021.

“This is an exciting milestone for our organisation. We now have an established, dedicated space in the hub of the city surrounded by the energy and excitement of being in a CBD,” said Somra.

The newly designed open-plan office reflects Organon ANZ’s commitment to its flat organisational structure and collaborative culture. With a focus on fostering creativity and connection, the space is designed to encourage seamless interaction across all areas of the business.

“The space has been deliberately shaped to the needs of our organisation, ensuring we have space for meetings, workshopping ideas, and coming together as a team. It is a great opportunity to create our own space that reflects our culture and the way we love to work,” said Sophie Althans, HR Director of Organon ANZ.

Andreas Daugaard Jørgensen, Managing Director of Organon Asia Pacific, recently highlighted the impact of Bilal’s leadership, stating that it will be “instrumental in guiding us through the next phase of our growth journey, driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring we continue to deliver on our promise for a better every day for every woman.”
