MSD revealed as finalist in Australian HR Awards

Health Industry Hub | July 13, 2020 |

The Australian HR Awards celebrates the outstanding achievements of the country’s top Human Resources leaders, companies and teams.

MSD reveals its success in securing a finalist position for the 2020 Australian HR Awards in the following categories:

  1. Best Workplace Flexibility Program
  2. Employer of Choice
  3. Australian HR Champion (CEO) of the Year

Australian HR Champion (CEO) of the Year

This year marks the first time MSD has submitted a nomination for Australian HR Champion (CEO) of the Year. MSD’s Managing Director Michael Azrak has been chosen as a finalist in this category, which recognises a CEO who has demonstrated excellence by driving successful HR strategies from the top and putting people at the centre of the organisation. Michael’s nomination in this award category recognises his people-focused leadership across MSD Australia, as well as his commitment to gender equality and diversity and inclusion. In addition, Michael drives his commitment to equity and diversity externally in his role as Pay Equity Ambassador for the Australian Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA).

Employer of Choice

In 2019, MSD was awarded Employer of Choice for the second consecutive year. MSD is pleased to once again be a finalist in this category in 2020. MSD’s engagement score of 86% remains above the high-performing norm across the industry.

Best Workplace Flexibility Program

Flexibility is a core part of MSD’s culture at MSD. The company is proud to be finalists for Best Workplace Flexibility Program, as recognition of the work MSD does to normalise flexible working and enable this important practice for all colleagues. MSD was highly commended for this category in 2019, and was the winner in this category in 2018.

The Australian HR Awards will be announced on Thursday 3 December 2020.
