Health Industry Hub | January 29, 2020 |

Medicines Australia congratulates Melissa McGregor on her appointment to a new senior position for Pfizer in Europe and thank her for her contribution and commitment to the industry through her role as Deputy Chair of the Board, member of the Nominations Committee and her leadership of the review of the Medicines Australia Constitution.

Dr Anna Lavelle, Chair of Medicines Australia congratulated Ms McGregor on her promotion.

“Melissa has always shown passion for the industry and for achieving optimal patient outcomes. As Chair I will miss her high level of engagement and commitment to Medicines Australia. It is no surprise to me that her talent and energy has been recognised and I wish her every success in her new role,” said Dr Lavelle.

Medicines Australia CEO Elizabeth de Somer also paid tribute to Ms McGregor’s contribution to the Australian innovative medicines industry.

“Melissa has been a tremendous advocate for the industry in Australia and provided great personal support and advice to me as I took on the role of CEO.
