ANDHealth to bring innovative Australian technologies to the US market

Digital & Innovation: ANDHealth last week announced a joint effort with the Anthem Digital Incubator to facilitate and accelerate US market access and uptake for Australian digital health companies and their products and services.
Anthem, an innovation leader dedicated to improving health, serves more than 110 million people, including approximately 43 million within its family of health plans. In late 2020, the company became the first major US Healthcare payor to create a dedicated digital incubator and innovation program.
The Anthem-ANDHealth collaboration creates a pathway for Australian digital health companies seeking to prepare for and enter the US market.
Bronwyn Le Grice, Founder & CEO of ANDHealth commented “The US market is absolutely critical to the global scale up and commercialisation of our leading digital health technologies.”
“As one of the largest healthcare companies in the US market, and the only payor with a digital incubator program, our work together offers Australian companies unprecedented access to knowledge, skills, expertise and programs to help them access the world’s largest market for digital health.”

Kate Merton, Anthem’s Staff Vice President of Digital Care Delivery remarked, “Because innovation has no borders, Anthem is looking globally for high-potential start-ups and entrepreneurs with ideas, products, and services that have the potential to help consumers lead healthier lives, while simplifying healthcare.”
“The Anthem Digital Incubator looks forward to building a close and collaborative relationship with ANDHealth, as a part of our global approach to improving consumers’ health and wellbeing as well as enhancing the healthcare experience.”
Within the collaborative framework, ANDHealth will identify and nominate relevant Australian companies for the Anthem Digital Incubator Challenges. In addition, the agreement creates a framework for a two-way exchange of market information, expert coaching and mentoring, and educational content for the benefit of both programs.
