GE HealthCare, Lumus Imaging and GenesisCare unite to bring advanced technology to patients

GE HealthCare and Lumus Imaging have joined forces to enhance medical care in Sydney’s Campbelltown region, unveiling a state-of-the-art imaging clinic within GenesisCare’s purpose-built cancer care and health centre.
GE HealthCare CEO ANZ, Leon Berkovich, said “We’re proud to work together with Lumus Imaging on our range of innovative technologies to help facilitate quick and accurate patient diagnosis and to empower clinicians with the tools they need to diagnose with confidence.”
Kaye Swallow, Lumus Imaging Operations Manager for South West, said “Our new medical imaging centre with advanced technology aligns with the overall strategy to focus on quality and patient care. We will continue to invest in the South West region and support the community with their healthcare needs.”
The cutting-edge imaging technologies featured at the clinic include:
- NM/CT 850 – A hybrid SPECT/CT imaging system that integrates an advanced nuclear imaging camera with a low-dose CT subsystem, enabling clinicians to diagnose diseases earlier.
- NM/CT 870 DR – A premium hybrid SPECT/CT system designed to provide precise, reproducible imaging results while ensuring a streamlined and comfortable experience for patients.
- LOGIQ E10s ultrasound – A next-generation ultrasound offering multi-purpose capabilities in a scalable configuration, supporting a wide range of diagnostic applications.
The Lumus Imaging clinic at GenesisCare Campbelltown officially opened to patients on 2 December 2024. To mark the occasion, a launch event was held this week, attended by clinicians and local dignitaries, including Campbelltown Mayor Cr Darcy Lound. The event showcased the clinic’s advanced facilities and reinforced its role in expanding access to high-quality diagnostic technology for the community.
