‘Put your hand up before putting your hand out,’ says Varian senior leader as she takes on global promotion

Ahead of her global promotion to Head of Marketing and Sales Operations for Radiation Oncology Solutions at Varian, Rebecca Cortiula, current Senior Managing Director at Varian Medical Systems, Australasia, and Vice Chair of the MTAA Board, reflects on her three-decade career and leadership journey.

As the Chair of MTAA’s Women in MedTech Committee, Cortiula passionately advocates for gender diversity and equity. She offers a valuable piece of advice she received early in her career that has guided her success as a female leader.
