Baxter Healthcare appoints successor to lead ANZ business

MedTech News: Baxter Healthcare, a global medtech leader, has announced the appointment of Brendan Cummins to General Manager, Australia and New Zealand.

Mr Cummins, who has served as Director Pharmaceuticals, Compounding and Anaesthesia A/NZ since 2018, will lead Baxter Healthcare’s business in Australia and New Zealand, reporting directly to President Asia Pacific, Steve Flynn. Mr Cummins succeeds Mr Flynn who served as General Manager since 2015.

Mr Cummins has more than 19 years of experience working in the healthcare industry including 15 years with Baxter Healthcare – eight years as a member of Baxter’s A/NZ Senior Leadership Team. He has held Director and Senior Manager roles in Pharmaceuticals, Corporate Accounts, Marketing, Commercial Excellence and Government Affairs.
