Life Sciences featured in national HR awards

Pharma and MedTech feature prominently amongst the finalists for the 2019 Australian HR Awards.

The Australian HR Awards celebrate the outstanding achievements of the country’s top HR leaders, companies and teams. The awards defined excellence in 2018 with over 850 of the top HR professionals across Australia filling The Star, Sydney to celebrate with the winners.

Here are the finalists from Life Sciences:

Paul Braico, vice president and managing director, Boston Scientific Australia and New Zealand, is a finalist for HR Champion (CEO) of the Year.

Boston Scientific is a finalist for Employer of Choice (100-999 Employees) while Edwards Lifesciences is a finalist for Employer of Choice (1-99 Employees).

Boston Scientific is also a finalist for Best Learning and Development Program.

Pharma also feature prominently, with three nominations for AbbVie, in Employer of Choice (100-999 Employees), Best Health and Well-Being Program and Best Workplace Flexibility Program.

MSD and Sanofi also secured three finalist nominations. MSD in Best Workplace Flexibility Program, Australian HR Team of the Year (≤1000 Employees) and Employer of Choice (100-999 Employees). Sanofi in Australian HR Team of the Year (≤1000 Employees), Employer of Choice (100-999 Employees) and HR Rising Star of the Year (Sarah Alexander).

The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on Friday 6 September 2019.
