The Health Industry Hub Awards is a celebration and recognition of the remarkable individuals and organisations that inspire us to challenge the status quo and embark on a purposeful journey to reimagine healthcare across the entire patient journey.

The Awards ceremony buzzed with an electric mix of anticipation, glamour, and celebration. The atmosphere was charged as guests arrived in elegant attire, cameras flashed, and laughter mingled with the hum of conversation. Every detail, from the soft lighting to the upbeat music, built excitement, while finalists sat poised between nerves and hope. When the spotlight hit the stage and envelopes were opened, the room held its breath before erupting into applause and cheers.

A heartfelt thanks to guest speakers Martin Bowles joined in conversation with Kieran Schneemann, and Dr Geoff Lester. Martin and Kieran led a candid and bold discussion on the complex and volatile health policy landscape, with guests remarking that “it’s refreshing to hear” such an open exchange.

Geoff’s brave and deeply human reflection on what it means to stand on both sides of care, as a clinician and a patient, truly moved the audience. His words were such a powerful reminder that true advocacy begins with listening, and that empathy is the bridge that connects knowledge to compassion, and expertise to lived experience.
